We are testing out a new comments system: Welcome to Disqus...

Recently we've experiences a surge of problems and bugs with Facebook comments, which to be honest, has been extremely buggy and running like overall crap. We've been diligent in reporting all of these problems to Facebook, but their support routinely ignores bug reports for months and many times will just close the tickets without ever fixing the problem at all. So the escalating level of user complaints coupled with horrible support, has made us at look for a better commenting system to the site. We know everyone HATES change but we have decided to give a different commenting system a test run: a service called Disqus.

As of now this is a trial run that will extend for a few days, and then we will solicit you for reader feedback.  This will only affect new pages moving forward, and for now is just a trial. Your Facebook login will still work, only now you can also post comments via your Google and Twitter accounts. You can also create a free Disqus account if you'd prefer to keep your accounts separate.
